God’s gift of children is priceless. As adults, we have the privilege and obligation to take care of them, to pray for the protection and safety of all children, and to assist children around us in living the whole and prosperous life that God wishes for them.
Unfortunately, love and security are not a reality for millions of children who are sexually abused, forced to work in dangerous conditions, or fight to live on the streets.
Protection Prayer for my Daughter
Warfare may isolate children from their families in some locations, exposing them to exploitation. Children are also compelled to join armed rebel organizations as soldiers, porters, sex slaves, and other roles.
Drought and famine drive families to make terrible decisions about putting their children to work or marrying their daughters as children.

I pray you offer them compassion for those harmed by this awful behavior and forgive them for what they have done to others.
I wish you would assist us all in seeing each other as brothers and sisters in humanity rather than opponents or competitors.

It is important to thank God for everything that you have: your health, your family, your home, and so on. As a parent, you are responsible for ensuring all these things are handled, and you must also recognize how much time and effort it takes to provide those things.
When thanking God for your daughter, focus not only on her positive traits or attributes. Thanking God for her will also includes acknowledging her weaknesses and flaws and any challenges she may face.
