When I read the news report about Pastor Stoecklin, who committed himself, my heart was broken. He suffered from despair and anxiety.
While it may appear weird that a pastor, who leads and educates the church, can deal with anxiety and melancholy, the truth is that one in every four pastors does.
Many parishioners are unaware of the profound, inner personal problems a priest endures daily.
There is a need for prayers for Pastor’s strength.
It is easy to forget that our pastors have God-given authority but are human beings with unique problems.
